Bradford Music Education Hub invites you
to join the Hallé Orchestra on
Wednesday 24 June 2020
in St George’s Hall, Bradford
Bradford Music & Arts Service are working in partnership with The Hallé Orchestra to present Come and Play With The Hallé! This is an exciting and FREE opportunity for primary schools that have a Whole Class Instrumental scheme for children on brass, woodwind, strings (violin, viola and cellos), recorder, guitar, ukulele and samba instruments to come to an exciting playing and singing workshop with the Hallé at Bradford’s historic St George’s Hall.
In spring term, schools will be provided with age, ability and instrument appropriate parts and additional material to learn in school as a part of their Whole Class Instrumental Lessons and to bring to a morning or afternoon session to play along with the Hallé. The children will hear from and learn about the orchestra and will take part in a Big Sing and as play as a member of an orchestra of hundreds of children bringing the musical heritage of the renowned St George’s Hall to life!
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, but be aware that space is limited for those playing larger instruments due to the seating of the venue. Photographs may be taken to publicise the event in local media so please ensure that you have appropriate permissions in place or can identify how many children need exemptions at the point of sign up.
