Date and time

Venue Bradford Cathedral, 1 Stott Hill, Bradford BD1 4EH

ReindeerThis year’s Christmas Festival will be held at Bradford Cathedral on Tuesday, 12 December 2017.  One of the highlights of the Christmas Festival is always the vocal items, and we would like to invite your school to participate in the secondary school choir, BLAST! which will be performing this year.

We are looking for up to 32 pupils, ideally from Years 7, 8 & 9, from up to three schools to form BLAST! We will not be able to visit each school to go through the songs beforehand; therefore we are asking the schools to rehearse them in their own time. Each school will be issued with materials to aid rehearsal of the pieces in preparation and there will be a rehearsal on the day prior to the concert.

Arrangements for transport and supervision will have to remain the responsibility of each individual school. The success of the concert is dependent on each participant’s commitment to the rehearsal and concert. Please check the schedule carefully.

Schools will be chosen on a first come first served basis. We will be in touch as soon as possible after the closing date to let you know if you have been successful or not and to provide further details as necessary.

Don’t delay reserve your place now!

Please complete the on-line submission and click the submit button. PLEASE RESERVE YOUR PLACE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, 20 OCTOBER 2017.
Rehearsal: 4pm – 5.30pm. at Bradford Cathedral. Schools are welcome to stay to eat a packed tea in the room afterwards if they so wish.
Please tick to show that you adhere to our terms and conditions.
It is vital that the number does not exceed 32 – we will require confirmation of numbers nearer the time.
