Charanga is a national organisation with a 7-year track record of successful local partnership working in the area of music education technology and digital content. Charanga enables the hub to provide all children with access to high quality online learning for every instrument throughout the period of their whole class ensemble teaching and progression beyond.
A Charanga-supported programme of CPD and training using Charanga’s inspira methodology and other digital resources enables class teachers to develop the necessary skills and confidence to support the whole class ensemble teaching in schools and to teach music in the curriculum in a musically ambitious way.
The existing local online digital teaching and learning resource for teachers and pupils is beginning to provide benefits in extending learning beyond the classroom and raising the level of engagement with music in schools.
